El Fiscal General oficialista, Tarek William Saab, anunció este jueves la captura de miembros de una organización delincuencial que se dedicaba al contrabando de dinero en efectivo en el estado Bolívar.

Precisó que el hecho ocurrió cuando en el punto de control El Rayado de la entidad venezolana, funcionarios de la Guardia Nacional Bolivariana procedieron a revisar un vehículo particular cuyos conductores se encontraban en evidente estado de nerviosismo.

Los efectivos procedieron a verificar el interior del maletero, encontraron cuatro sacos embalados los cuales en su interior contenían gran cantidad de billetes del cono monetario vigente en el país.


Detalló que la cantidad en bolívares tendrían una cifra traducida en moneda extranjera de 19.450 dólares.
“Al no presentar ninguna documentación o autorización para el traslado de esta cantidad de dinero en efectivo, los tres ciudadanos que viajaban en el vehículo fueron detenidos”, informó Saab.

Los sujetos fueron identificados como Eduardo Medardo Bolívar, Kleiver Elías Henríquez y Luis Guillermo López. Estos ciudadanos fueron presentados el 17 agosto en Puerto Ordaz; donde les fueron imputados los delitos de legitimación de capitales y asociación para delinquir.
