El barrio Simón Bolívar de la parroquia la Sabanita, recibió con beneplácito al Ing. Luis Silva Candidato a la alcaldía del municipio Angostura del Orinoco, y al candidato a diputado Humberto Flores, junto a los candidatos a concejal por el circuito Juan España y su suplente.
Durante el casa por casa, los vecinos de Simón Bolívar se quejaron de la falta de aseo urbano, por lo que tienen que lanzar la basura en un botadero a las orillas del barrio, contaminando el sector de la cancha, que se encuentra en total estado de abandono, al igual que las calles y el alumbrado público, que es inexistente.
Ante estos planteamientos de los vecinos, se pronunciaba Luis Silva “No se puede ser tan indolente con los sectores más humildes de nuestra ciudad, tenemos un alcalde que solo se ocupa de pintar y medio limpiar el paseo Orinoco, mientras el resto de la ciudad se cae a pedazos, pero él sabe que está trabajando pre aviso, y con la contundente victoria de la Mud Unidad, tendremos una gestión verdaderamente comprometida.”
Aprovechó el candidato la visita al sector para invitar a los vecinos a participar en el simulacro electoral de éste fin de semana, que se familiaricen con el proceso, y puedan orientar a sus familiares y vecinos sobre como ejercer el derecho al voto el próximo 21 de noviembre.
